We got a quote to install laminate counter tops since granite was over our budget. We had to pay in full $6910.00 before anyone would even come out to look at the job. When the estimator arrived, he looked at the counters and said the job couldn't be done because the island counter was larger than the laminate sheets. We specifically asked twice if there would be a seam in the job and were told no. We cancelled the job the next day and had to wait 10 days to get a refund check. Home Depot converted our payment check to an electronic bank transfer and the money was taken from our account the next day. We will NEVER consider Home Depot for any major purchase. How can they get away with charging the entire job before it gets looked at. We have 2 estimates from independent contractors that will install the same job with hard surface materials for under $6000. Home Depot wanted $11000. It's a good place to buy fertilizer, but that's about it for us.

This is the Worst Store in the area, stay away!!! We special ordered a whole house of Pergo XP Flooring and it has been a nightmare!!! First they take over an hour to get the product out of the special order area when we go to pick it up. They damaged the flooring when they ran the forklift into it, the installations guys are terrible, they charge you $90.00 per hour for floor prep. The whole house install for $397.00 ends up costing over $2,000. They have you over a barrel been without a floor for over 8 weeks
