I was recommended this location being its close to my house. I was able to park my car at my house and they werent able to take my car until 6 days later, and offered to arrange a tow from my house to them at 8:30 am the morning they would be able to take in my car. I made sure things were in order for me to be able to go to work late to be available to meet the tow truck and be present to sign the forms and when i hadnt been contacted by 8:45 i called the shop to follow up on the status of the tow being sent out. Im told there are no notes and asked who i talked to and was told it mustve been the call center even though i said it was the locations phone number i was called from when the arrangement was made. Im told no notes so i should figure out a tow w my insurance-- no offer to help me resolve the issue for their miscommunication, just sorry figure it out. Im on the phone waiting to get a tow dispatched and i get a call back from fix and im thinking maybe they found the note and they are calling to update me that a tow will be on their way. I hang up my call to pick up the call: ya i just wanted to notify you i asked everyone working here right now and no one remembers taking your call so you should get a tow uthrough your insurance. Thanks, THATS WHAT YOU CALLED ME BACK TO SAY?? The most unproductive call to CONTINUE to not take any responsibility and not offer a solution for your miscommunication? Well when i finally got a tow using one of my triple a tows i called back to update the ETA and confirmed i could and would need to sign the forms remotely, because now i needed to go into work; gave my email, was told they cant start anything until its signed. 10:30 my car is towed in and i get a text from another tow service at 10:30 asking to tow my car to fix..... THE TOW THAT THEY SET UP THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO ARRIVE AT 8:30? Yes, confirmed with that tow company. Let that roll off and i just make sure to check email often including junk/spam as well. Call at 2:30 to ensure it wasnt sent to the wrong email and told they hadnt checked in my car yet. Not until 10:30 the next day i hear from anyone and im told i need to come in to sign thr forms--- no, I was told it was set up to email me the forms. No notes. Have the forms sent then and i promptly signed, scanned and sent back to them. Got weekly updates and told a couple times i would get another on fridays but never got one (not a big deal, i know its in progress if im not contacted). Got my estimate and i mentioned my insurance said i wouldnt be paying my deductible, confirming they had note of that as well. 5 weeks later im called close to 2pm notifying its done. I call back at 4:30 to confirm i received the call and ask for hours to plan for pick it up. They are open until 5:30 but the wouldnt allow people to pick up their cars after 4.....? Im brainstorming my options for coverage at work to pick up before their 4pm cut off the next day and call back asking if id be penalized if i wasnt able to come until the following day: "uhh ya we just need the space." Alright, i take a long lunch the next day to get my car. Im told i am to pay my $500 deductible. No, i confirmed i was not to pay my deductible w them over the phone. "With someone here?" "Yes i confirmed with someone here over the phone" "uhhhh we have no notes so u paying the $500 will be required...." oh then i guess she decided to actually look for notes but not before telling me i was wrong because the notes were found. There were SEVERAL ways to react to someone correcting misinformation in both the tow and the deductible notes -- "im sorry for the miscommunication let me look into this for you" is a start. Im not CHALLENGING you, im politely informing you what the obviously flawed internal communication failed to. Its not my issue, so its inappropriate to treat me like I'm the problem. Being hit by a car was less painful than my collective customer service experience here. With the exception to Lotti (i believe was her name). She was professional and kind over the phone and when she took me to my car.
