        This is a fun little spot to come Bbq, fish, and swim. However, since the January 2023 storm that flooded the merced river, the water is much higher. The water was so high the river flooded the playground. Today's date is july 2, 2023. The playground is filthy right now. There is a small part safe enough to swim. But it can still be very dangerous due to fast and strong moving water.
