It was a great place to observe birds in the area and there were others there who also enjoy this activity - it was fun to meet them. The local Audubon folks were there to help too.

I wouldn't make a special trip but I like this spot. They have a visitor space to park but you're pretty far away from any birds. Your best bet it to drive to the end of the road and look in the fields to see what's out that day.. Then head to Staten Island Rd.

I absolutely love bird watching at Woodbridge. In the fall/winter watching the Sandhill Cranes, the Canadian Geese , assorted ducks, beautiful, absolutely beautiful.

Docents were very knowledgeable AND entertaining. It was so lovely seeing and hearing the cranes. Restrooms: Out house but it was ok
