Tomer Grimberg and his company Southwest Construction and Housing are the professionals to call if you have any construction that needs first class attention. The previous owners of our home removed two bearing walls without properly reinforcing them. We called five contractors to help us correct the problems. They either ignored our calls or didn't call us back when they said they would. Tomer on the other hand responded immediately and met or exceeded the specifications on the blueprints that a structural engineer had prepared for us. Tomer communicated with us every step of the way. His crews were polite and efficient. They completed their work in a timely manner. But most of all, Tomer is one of the most decent men we have had the pleasure of knowing. So, again, if you need help with construction, Tomer Grimberg and his company Southwest Construction and Housing are the professionals to call. You won't be disappointed. I'm writing this review to let others know that you should never let your guard down when dealing with contractors , even if they present themselves as people with good morals. I selected this co after experiencing water damage in Nov.2018. Tomer seemed professional, knowledgeable, and had good reviews. We ran into problems after the work was started . Tomer was paid the first portion of his estimate, plus a $1000 deductible, which was a total of $5966.00.After starting the work , the ins adj started battling with the HOA . Tomer had already started the drywall, and some electrical work for me. We did not anticipate the issue with the Ins/HOA. The issue I have with Tomer, is that the work he started, he never finished (drywall/electrical), although he was paid $5966. Drywall was 2482+1300 for electrical=$3782. He was overpaid $2184, and he admitted it, but refused to reimburse me. He even promised to send his workers back to complete the work when I pointed these issues out to him, no one ever showed or called, I never heard from him again, after the contract cancelled. I feel taken advantage of and ripped off. I lost money which I am responsible for with the new contractors. I believe in the Ten Commandments, and one them says thou shall not steal. God is a just God, He see's all and knows all and He deals each of us accordingly.
