Cornerstone Floors

Floors were installed fine. I didn't know what to ask for, so I didn't get a perfect end product. Live and learn, I won't knock them for that. However, this company has awful communication. One person told us to get things so they are easily moved. We come home the day before they started to a voicemail saying that everything had to be removed from the house and they wouldn't start until it was empty (it was scheduled for 5 days). The next day, the installer showed up and said they would only work one section at a time and it was fine how we had it organized. Flash forward two years and I get a bathroom refinished including flooring. I needed a new transition piece because the old flooring in the bathroom was lower than the new flooring. I called and left a message to get the piece to match our primary flooring. I get a call back from some guy who 1) didn't know what I was asking for 2) wanted to know why I didn't just use the bathroom tile for the transition material. I don't claim to be a flooring expert, which is why I wrote down what the flooring installers asked for when I called. I don't know if it was a terminology difference or what, but he left me feeling belittled and frustrated. They did order the piece I needed and had it delivered to the office same day. When I went to pick it up, it was an 8 foot long section. I drive a small car so asked if he could cut it in half. He said he didn't know how to do that or something like that. I figured I would just break it over my knee, but instead he decided to walk off with the piece, yelling at some other guy, asking if he could cut it. At this point I'm done dealing with them, I just want my piece so I can leave the store Eventually, he got it cut, after antagonizing me further and making me wait. I felt that they had poor customer service, poor communication. Their workmanship is fine. Maybe they cater to general contractors and so aren't used to dealing with an uninformed layman. Maybe they were just really off that day, but I wouldn't recommend them unless you speak their language -- in which case, hire someone cheaper to do the work.

Cornerstone replaced flooring and baseboard throughout our home. Mike Johnson was the project manager and Mike did a fantastic job overseeing the installation. Omar was the installer, he paid attention to detail and was very polite and conscious of keeping everything clean and organized. I work in construction and so I appreciate the professionalism of Mike and his team. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Cornerstone Floors. Service: Floor fitting

An elderly gentleman came out over a week ago and spent an hour measuring the floors throughout our entire house. He couldn't even tell us our total square footage. Haven't had a call, text or email from them since he left. Said it would take him 2 days. Can't understand why they waste their time. They don't care about ours, but not even their own??? 🙄
