Don's Turf Motel Los Alamitos

Not as busy a it used to be in that area. Many things have changed. I've been going there when I need to since the late 80'. Small place, but it's an Icon. Near Los Alamitos Race Track and the Starting Gate Bar and Grill. The Area was happening before the pandemic. Still a great place and very affordable. Went there for a week when it was raining because the electricity in my home messed up and no electrician would work on it when it was raining that hard.

My room had a retro feel. Very spacious and a great price for LA. Bed/pillows was softer than I like. Great location. Quiet. Nice personnel, that were very helpful. I'll stay again and recommend it.

Perfect. Quaint little hotel. Very clean, very professional people at the front desk. And you can not beat the price. I highly recommend this hotel

It was very nice and pleasant up until the manager started complaining that we brought food into the room and started cooking but everybody in that place has been cooking their own food I am disabled with my disabled family my son is disabled as she's telling us up here too loud that they had to call a plumber and they did not want to show proof of a plumber just because my son went number two and clogged it with toilet paper they said it was not just toilet paper my kids don't flush things down the toilet note for her not to get back my deposit being homeless with my family is vital as she came off so racist such a narcissist woman that owns that motel I do not recommend this place in fact I am also going to be letting the ADA know in Orange County on Houston streets her life and she does not treat everybody equal and there was no rules stating that she does not allow food to be brought in she also refused to show me the receipt from the plumber so as far as I'm concerned she just kept my deposit will be filing a lawsuit for small claims PS manager should not be in charge of this place her two sons that are constantly there would make this place a lot better if she was just out of the picture.
