Budget Car Rental

They charge you hidden fees, which after you cal and complain they refund you back, but not the entire sum!!!!! Very frustrating!! Do not recommend at all!!! The person at the front desk said tolls are included however we got charged a daily fee for tolls we havent even used!!!! They say they will fully refund you if you call and complain but we only got 60% of our money back!!! AVOID

If I could give zero stars I would. 1. They are slow to process people to get their rentals. 2. They kept offering their "upgrade" only so they could charge me more. When I repeatedly declined. 3.They will bully you into buying their insurance saying that at least get the basic when I repeatedly said no again. Only to cave because I kept getting harassed for it. 4. I returned the car over a week ago only for them to rip me off by billing me for smoke smell when none of us smoke (never smoked in our lives). So, for a 3 day rental I got charged over $1,000. That is ripping off your consumer. How do expect people to rent from you ever again? Stop making your people bully and harass people into buying extras.

Charged for optional fuel service when I declined it. I filled up the tank before returning the car. I am hoping they will resolve this issue.

The folks at the desk slipped in an upgrade fee without asking me first, then told me it was just a deposit. Not cool. Plus, the car they gave me? Super dirty, covered in water spots outside. Inside wasnt any better, with a big old stain that clearly hadnt been cleaned up. Gross.I've already reached out to Budget's customer care to complain about this shady move and the state of the car. Looking through more reviews here, seems like I'm not the only one who's had this problem. It's pretty clear this isn't just a one-off. Budget really needs to step up and train their people better, not to mention keeping their cars clean. We all deserve clear and honest service, not sneaky charges and dirty cars.

Car was dirty and tires where very badly out of balance and roared over 50mph so you don't notice it till you hit the highway. The reason for the one star review though was I was charged 230.00 after dropping off the car for insurance after declining it online, and again at the pickup desk. (Already have full coverage and even rental insurance on my credit card). READ EVERYTHING YOU SIGN HERE!
