I had a terrible experience here with Dr. Simpson and her staff. I went to get blood taken and the nurse taking my blood was completely unqualified and i fainted, he started panicking, which did not help me calm, and then Dr. Simpson came in and criticized me for fainting, she commented on how it "ruined her calm day" multiple times. I sent my feedback to them privately, they still haven't responded to me so i came to google to share publicly.

My mom has been coming here to see Dr. Bateman for the last few years. The staff is so attentive and kind. Thank you so much for everything you do!

Sounds like this place is similar to some other small UCLA clinics in the outskirts Los Angeles. I've found the trouble to be with communications through the many LVN's and new support staff and such that have poor communication skills and seem to run interference to getting decent medical care through good communication with veteran support staff, RN's, and actual medical doctors. There are lots of folks that need jobs so I've been curious as to why this is so. This unfortunately leads to many mistakes in administrative duties like difficulty filling prescriptions properly, poorly taken notes, email and text communications that don't rise above texting your friends on social media, etc. Mistakes add to the exorbitant cost of medical care and it's a recipe for abysmal failure.
