Thomas Painting Company

In August, 2023, I hired Thomas Painting Company to paint all of the wood on the upper and lower decks of my house. Thomas Painting Company was a referral from my sister and a close friend, both of whom live in Lake Wildwood, and who were pleased with the results of having their respective homes painted. Prior to hiring Thomas Painting Company I had received two other bids to do the work. Their bid was competitive and affordable. I was impressed that Thomas Painting Company has been in business for 25+ years, is owned by Bill Thomas and his two sons Brad and Brian, and they do the work themselves. Painting my decks was a huge project since the lower decks had not been painted for several years. In the process of pressure washing and sanding the lower decks, dry rot was discovered in certain sections which required several boards to be replaced as well as a few of the supporting joists. I am very grateful Bill Thomas brought this to my attention, showed me the extent of the dry rot, gave me a bid for the extra time & cost of materials. Bill and his sons were personally able to repair those areas at a reasonable cost. I was pleased with their repair work. The entire upper deck of my two-story house had been recently replaced, however, the redwood boards had never been treated. With the advice given to me by Thomas Painting Company and discussing the product options, a high quality stain was applied to the upper deck instead of a porch paint. I am very happy with the results. Thomas Painting Company inspected all of my decks, thoroughly pressure washed them, sanded several of the damaged boards, filled many of the cracks, and then applied two coats of Sherwin Williams porch/deck paint. I was very pleased with the job Thomas Painting Company did on my decks. They communicated with me about scheduling, kept me informed, were punctual, tidy, professional, and affordable. Bill Thomas and his workers are dependable and follow through with making sure the job gets accomplished correctly and on time. They are very thorough and very efficient at what they doI got to observe them prepping the space for paint and it was clear that they are experts at what they do. Brad, Logan & Tyler were amazing. The cabinets look absolutely spectacular, with incredible attention to detail. Our original 1978 cabinets now look brand new at a fraction of the cost of new cabinets. The entire crew was consistently on time, friendly, super clean, & very professional. We have a beautiful home thanks to Thomas Painting. We hired them to paint the exterior and 1 interior space. The price was reasonable, so we hired them. The young men that came to work on the house--Logan, Tim, and Jacob--were hard working and very courteous. They arrived on time and did a professional job. They had a "can do" attitude, and they went the extra mile to ensure we were satisfied. I can highly recommend Thomas Painting for anyone that needs work done on their buildings.
