AAA Green Builders

This is the worst company I have ever worked with. My husband and I live in a new development, and we had just bought our first home when Sean from AAA Green Builders came to our door claiming to be HOA Affiliated, we were quoted $12,000+ for pavers our 8x 40 side yard, which we did not know was outrageous at the time. We signed the contract, they did the work in a day. The pavers were not leveled, water would build up on the middle where the drain they promised to install would've been, and the pavers weren't even centered to the doorways. We had been trying to get this straightened out for ALMOST 6 MONTHS. Upon finding out that they are not actually HOA Affiliated and getting our already finished sideyard plans denied, we asked the project manager, Sean, to come over to talk over our concerns where he said " I did not put a gun to your head and force you guys to sign" and "you go ahead and take this to court if you'd like, I'm not scared of you" following that by walking out on us mid conversation. My husband and I were in violation with our HOA, stuck in the hands of these aggressive people with nothing we were able to do. They gave us a date to come and "fix it" and they gave us an 8am-11am window for when they will show, they didn't show. We called and were told that they will call us back when they know when they will be able to come. They had finally came to re-level the work, and the subcontractors they hired did a great job. They had initially promised us to charge us at cost for all of the trouble we went through, just to give us only $1000 off bringing us to $11,665 at the end. Such a waste of time and energy. AAA Green builders is a horrible company & shouldn't be allowed to be in business, the customer service is atrocious. We had them remodel our backyard around May of 2021, after first moving in to our brand new home. Shika was "nice," but a snake in the grass & didn't give us what we asked for. Cut corners & hired horrible installers, my husband told her that we needed a drainage system, she said we didn't. Installers came, they said we needed drainage. We weren't willing to pay anymore money, the backyard was already costing $48,000 so she had to eat the cost but put the cheapest thing out there & something that was meant for a drought tolerant front yard. We've had non stop problems with the drainage system, eventually connected with Johnny, who was amazing but for some reason we ended with Miguel. We negotiated to have the drain holes drilled into the side walk but it ended up costing us an additional $1500. We set up payment & the work was done, fast forward to consistent flooding any time there is any amount of water in the backyard. THE ONLY PERSON WITH ANY ETHICS OR MORALS was sent out way, Augustine. He came and was 100% honest and told us that part of drainage system was jacked up, went to the mat for us to have the company repair it and it's finally working. We didn't make the last payment on the $1500, just because they had been out roughly 10 times since the install was "finished." Now they're willing to forgo the last payment if we agree to voiding the warranty of the WHOLE BACKYARD!!! Because they've had to eat the cost of their mess ups on our backyard and feel that's justifiable to void the warranty if we don't pay $191, even though the lions share of the backyard cost has been paid and the $1500 had nothing to do with the backyard at all. We were willing to void the warranty of the drilling of the concrete to reroute the existing pipe & they aren't accepting that. THEY ARE TERRIBLE! SAVE YOUR MONEY! Backyard landscaping, very terrible customer service . Don't respond to service call. After giving a 25 year warranty . Work done poorly.
