Worst experience. Refuse to see you in person. Email only.  Then revisions are not what you asked for.  Not even close.  Then they honor another revision?  It was never correct to begin with. You can bet they got paid though.  The worst!!

My brother had just lost his wife and decided he needed to put his affairs in order. He was also dealing with physical and mental problems because he was on oxygen.  He called the office of Carl E. Combs for help and he got very little.  They sent him a statement to sign that he would have a package deal costing $3500 which would include a trust and will.  After signing and paying $3500, all he got were emails requesting signatures on blank forms. He also got one form to fill out listing his beneficiaries.At no time was any legal options or concerns given to my brother.At the time, my brother had physical problems working on the computer, so he did not check his email regularly. He started having concerns about Combs law because he did not seem to get any response from them.I helped him send an email asking for a phone call to let my brother know that they sent any emails.  No response. No phone call. Just blank forms on email asking for a signature.I finally sent an email saying I was his brother and he was requesting all documents produced and a statement of costs.The documents he sent on email were obvious filled boiler plate software that probably took less than two hours to fill.  They were useless since they did not fit my brother's situation.My brother and I decided that he could not depend on this lawyer to provide what he needed so we searched online for a lawyer in Oakdale, close to his house.  We found one.  She invited us in for a consultation,was personable and interested.  She created the documents within a week and actually came to his house with a notary to sign the papers.What a difference from Carl E. Combs! He decided not to refund any of the $3500 because it was a package deal.  It doesn't matter if it wasn't acceptable by the client.  There are plenty of lawyers around.  Stay away from this guy!

yes, I too hired this so called lawyer from Hyatt legal service, I have never dealt with a more arrogant, un-helpful attorney than this jerk.  I asked for a living trust, and instead of taking my information and completing it like most helpful paid lawyers, he sends me 15 word attachments and wants me to go over all of it myself without any guidance on the legal part of each section of trust, I had several pages not completed of changes, when i showed up to meet notary. so after back and fourth on emails, in which he seem bothered on each, i decided someone with more of service attitude needs my business than this guy. He should sell used cars, that's more his speed.
