So much lack of communication to apply there. I get it we have to do that live zoom meeting but last I went to apply in sac that didnt work out because the lady had attitude and didnt want to be there. She made us feel we were going to be like the hunger games to get into the program we want. They lack on the application on the program I wanted. I dont get it why can we do one to one zoom personally.

The whole process from the beginning to the very end as a LVN student had its pros and cons. For example, the only bad part about Modesto Gurnick was 1 instructor quitting in the middle of the term. Which made my own experience a challenge at that specific time. The great part about this school was learning the material and meeting classmates who had each other's back. Moreover, I strongly stand beside Angel Yang. She is the Student Service Coordinator who communicated on time and fast. As a student like me I asked a million questions and she never made me feel like none of my questions were not valid. She always had a positive outlook in my nursing journey as a student. I graduated and passed the NCLEX so it was worth going there. Nonetheless I put hard work into my studies in order to get my LVN license. Lastly, I was in the P.M class that always had a security guard at the front entrance of the building so safety was a 10/10.

Okay right now in the process of enrolling but I might back up to no enrolling.   I did not like that my college credits are not transferable.  I  was told I need to take math again.    I spent 5 years in the college to get all my classes for the nursing program.  If they said my high school is not transferable I will walking out.

911 911 911 PLEASE READ!!! LVN program-36k paid in full by end of programThis is one of the worst pop up schools I have ever seen...their weekly learning skills packets are horribly written w next to no info leaving the students to figure things out for themselves ---the "teachers" qualified to instruct a class is hardly close to kinder garden level...w the amounts they charge and their units being non transferable use caution THIS IS SETUP AS A SCHOOL STRICTLY FOR THEIR PROFIT NOT THE STUDENTS!!!  Worse than a public school system just trying to push the numbers through.Save your money and go to a community college or talk to students in person to find real reviews. At least if u go to a real college like MJC your units are your units that can transfer w you...not like this pop up school that is setup to trap n trick the people stuck n their snareFood for thought: what kind of teacher tells their students that there is always a right answer but you need to be aware that there is always a better right answer........when did 1+1= anything else but 2 (obviously a rhetorical response but gives you an idea of the situation)

I work at Gurnick and I love it! Yes, there are areas needing improvement but like anything in life, nothing is perfect. We strive to offer good service to the students and we will help wherever we can!
