Central Catholic High School

This school is all about athletics. They don't enforce the student code of ethics. If you have money to donate you are golden. The teachers are a hit and miss. Some good some  not so.The school indicates a 100% college attendance which is such bs some kids go on to the trades which is amazing. Although they will not acknowledge it. The school does not prepare your student for college. If you are looking for a faith based school for college prep look elsewhere. Mr P is a control freak and Mr S is a puppet. This is not a school to send your kids to for quality education and growth.

As an alumni and sister of a senior here at CCHS, I feel grateful of  what was our journey in this school. I have to congratulate CCHS for being a very good academic institution and place for kids to learn, grow, and create opportunities for themselves. This private school is small in size (which is a good thing) one a few steps away from the counselor, the church, the gym, and cafeteria. I was able to learn and enjoy the safe environment CCHS had to offer. My counselor Mr. Diep will always be a person to thank, CCHS made an excellent choice. Mrs. OB (used to teach bio) will always be in my heart she didn't teach by the book and I learned more in her class than any other class I have ever taken. Thank you Mr. Wilson for giving us valuable life lessons, logic began in your courses. Mr. Yonker most knowledgeable in that school, I'd survive ww3 with your knowledge. Mrs. Roth for accepting my artistic views. Mrs. Dillon for showing me that teachers can also be friends and have a heart. Mr. C for showing us that smiling can change someone's bad day. CCHS staff are also very caring of their students!There are a variety of courses and this institution allow for students to have a path and help them reach their goal. I am about to graduate from University of the Pacific, and my brother is about to graduate Central Catholic High School.Life is short, and I am glad I chose CCHS.Take off the Polo rule, it sucks. Hopefully they've changed since I've attended, but members of their faculty were quite homophobic and cruel towards gay folks. My experience at CCHS was the most traumatizing two and a half years of my life. If you don't mind educators harboring ignorance and bigotry, CCHS is just the school you've been looking for!
