Such a cool little shop on Highway 1, looking out over the waves. Funky clothes I havent seen anywhere else. Stickers! Art by local folks. Run by friendly locals. Do not miss it on your way down the coastside to Half Moon Bay. Also, safe little fenced-in backyard if you need to let the little monsters run around for a few minutes to give yourself some peace from the traffic

Tidepool has a lil treasure for everyone. Its plopped right on highway one, sunken into the rugged cliffs of one of my favorite stretches of California coastline. Theres lots of sweet vintage finds, the kind of pieces that you covet for a lifetime: a small (but eclectic) collection of records, cool old art books, thoughtfully made jewelry, naturey smelling candles and a hodgepodge of ceramics, tshirts, and other doodads made by the owner, who is so, so kind and welcoming. Tidepool has a made excellent use out of front yard too- oftentimes when Ive gone theres been a very sweet man selling African mud cloths and baskets. The shop also has a dreamy backyard where you can catch some rays (if youre lucky). Do yourself the favor of making this a pit stop or a destination
