I could not recommend working with Kaitlin and her team enough! She helped us coordinate our multi-day wedding, which included a Hindu ceremony and a traditional western ceremony with a reception. We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and Kaitlin made the whole process so much easier. She is highly professional, personable, and frankly - I don't know how we would have made it through our wedding without her. The whole weekend was a breeze and she handled everything seamlessly. We really felt like we had the opportunity to enjoy ourselves without worrying about a single detail because she handled everything that came up.

We highly recommend Kaitlin and Pocketful of Plans.
We interviewed with a couple planners during the start of the pandemic and hired Kaitlin because of her ability to connect with us and her knowledge of the wedding industry. It was very helpful to have her recommendation of vendors and since COVID was unpredictable, Kaitlin was honest of the uncertainties and highly recommended us to book vendors far in advance. We took her recommendations seriously and felt prepared for our big day. Kaitlin and her team were flawless and we couldn't have asked for our rehearsal dinner and wedding to have gone any better!

Kaitlin is so amazing I don't know where to start. She gracefully helped us plan throughout covid and made our wedding the most absolutely perfect day anyone could ever ask for. She is responsive, professional, and overall amazing. At the beginning of the planning process we didn't think we needed a planner but in the end we don't know how we could have done it without her. I yell her name to anyone I know planning a wedding! :)

My husband & I worked with Kaitlin for our November 2021 wedding at Gardener Ranch in Carmel Valley. We met with three wedding planners and after one call with Kaitlin, we knew she was it! Kaitlin is organized, thoughtful, professional and has an excellent design eye. She is also an amazing listener and really gets to know the couples she works with. Kaitlin took our wish list and made it all happen in the best way. When we walked into our wedding it truly felt like a dream to see what she had created. We could have never executed our design vision without Kaitlin putting it all together!
Our wedding had its share of challenges- we elected to get married during Covid (2021) and had so much uncertainty regarding our event. We didnt know if we would be able to have 25, 50 or 120 guests up until two months before our big day. The added stress would have been too much to handle if we didnt have Kaitlin to guide us through. She thought of everything- different layouts depending on guest counts, different ceremony locations and helped us implement a plan for our event that made our guests feel safe. Kaitlin also helped us stretch our budget in the best way. There was never any pressure to use a specific vendor, we could have candid calls about budget and she would help us go over the pros and cons of contracts before we committed. Kaitlin also focused on the guest experience and helped us make decisions that were for the best of the event. We have gotten so many questions after our wedding asking who our wedding planner was because our guests were so impressed.
When I say Kaitlin made our wedding dreams come true, it is an understatement. The weekend of our wedding Kaitlin turns into more of a superhero than she already is and creates absolute magic. We didnt have to worry about a single thing, Kaitlin had it covered. One of the most special moments of our wedding was when Kaitlin helped me put on my veil right before walking down the aisle. It truly felt like a life long friend was wishing me well before I took this big step in my life and I wouldnt have it any other way. Kaitlin made everyone feel so comfortable, relaxed and included in the process. The Pocketful of Plans team was professional, efficient and put together every last detail perfectly. Our reception tent was stunning and every single flower, napkin, name card was laid out immaculately. I cried saying goodbye to Kaitlin the Sunday after our wedding because she had become such a support and close person in our life over the past year.
Looking back, I can firmly say hiring Kaitlin for our wedding was the best decision we made. We could have gotten married anywhere and she would have made it perfect. If you want a wedding experience where you can show up to your wedding and enjoy the entire event, your guests & family are taken care of and your design vision is brought to life, look no further than Kaitlin. Looking back we will always have the best memories of working with Pocketful of Plans and only wish we could do it all over again!

Kaitlin Ford is a wedding planning superstar. I will admit, I was hesitant to book a planner. I'm type A, I'm organized, I thought I could do this by myself. If you are having these thoughts - stop right now and hire Pocketful of Plans because wedding planning will bring you to tears without her. From the start, Kaitlin's expert knowledge and care meant we got the best of the best for our wedding. She knows all the best vendors and helped build us a dream team of people that ended up putting on a wedding so amazing I couldn't have even dreamed it. She will help make sure you are spending money where it makes sense and not spending money on silly things that you don't need. She understands contracts and will ensure you have the right agreements in place. She will also just answer those random questions that come up, "Is there a steamer on site we can use?" (Answer: Yes, but I'm going to bring my own and steam everything for you, so don't worry about this) "What tux rental place is the best?" (Answer: This one, oh and I have a discount code you can use.), etc etc. On the weekend of the wedding I was nervous. There were so many moving pieces, I had all of my friends and family in town, how were we ever going to pull this off?! Answer: Kaitlin. She did everything! She checked over the rentals on Friday, ensuring that the two chairs that were damaged were replaced before the wedding, she steamed the tuxes and dresses, she taught us the steps for the wedding day, when the wedding day arrived I enjoyed getting ready with my bridesmaids while she assisted all the vendors with their setup. When I walked down the aisle I was calm, happy and able to just enjoy the moment. The same was true for the reception - everything was gorgeous and taken care of. Honestly, I can't even say how thankful I am for all her support and care. Our wedding was one pushed out by COVID and so Kaitlin had to go above and beyond the normal and she never batted an eyelash, helping us renegotiate contracts and keeping in touch about our emotional state as we had to push out the big day. She was truly a godsend and I couldn't recommend her more!
