Great venue for music. General admission standing on main floor...some seats in balcony.

I took my mom here to see Con Funk Shun for her birthday. The venue is definitely small but the ambience is pretty cool and the seating staff is nice. I purchased premium table and I must say its very TIGHT on space. The seating is VERY close and I feel they need to spread the seating out so we can have some elbow room to eat and be comfortable. I also think they need to reconfigure the table layout so that nobodys back is facing the stage performance and if not at least have enough room so folks can easily turn their chairs around and still have room. Looks like they have a great Meyer Sound system but the sound guy wasnt great tonight as the mic sound for one of the singers was drowned out and muffled sounding and we could not understand what he was singing. The steak and potatoes and salmon plates were AWESOME but our server was a bit overwhelmed and took long on following up with us so I recommend ordering your food through the app which had faster delivery. Lastly I think it would be a great idea for us to purchase assigned seats from an interactive map and that way it eliminates standing in line after driving two hours to get there or first come first served. I like live music so I will definitely come back but I wont buy premium table and I will try the High Bar next time.

The 3 stars are for the Artist. ZERO STARS FOR THE VENUE!This was my 1st time going to Blue Note Napa. I attended the Chrisette Michelle concert on Saturday, March 16. The artist was absolutely amazing! Very talented singer with an amazing vocal octave range. She can SANG!! I did not know she had pipes like that... I love many of her songs but omg! to hear her sing live was a real treat. Now the venue left something to be desired for the cost of the seats . To say the least, I was not happy or impressed with the so-called "premium seats". At $85 per seat ($100 with tax), completely not worth it! I asked to speak with a manager who was polite but couldn't make any changes because it was a sold out house that night ! My partners' back was to the stage & he couldn't see the artist. God forbid If a fire broke out, it would be difficult to get out alive! The space was overpacked & truly unsafe. Management needs to make changes to prevent someone from getting hurt in there! They had 8 couples sitting at 1 table. The tables are too small for 8 couples. You couldn't even move sitting at the tables. Could barely eat & enjoy your food comfortably. Another lady came & was just as upset as I was; she told the waiter, umh, no I paid for premium seats. The waiter apologized & told her these are the premium seats . Venue is not comparable to Yoshis at all. Yoshi's is so much better. My first & last time going to this venue. I would NOT recommend this venue. *the picture shows my partner with his back to the stage & artist.
