Our anniversary weekend at Carneros Resort was nothing short of perfect. We were married in a small wedding at the resort several years ago, and we so appreciated the note and the gifts that were waiting in our cottage upon check in. We had dinner at FARM, breakfast the next morning at the Hilltop, and brunch the day after at Boon Fly Cafe, and enjoyed the delicious options at each of them. The weather wasnt great, which didnt affect our experience at all; I only mention it because we were still offered turn-down service by a resort employee who was working in the pouring rain, yet still was gracious and friendly to us. In fact, each and every employee we encountered throughout our stay was wonderful.
The beautifully appointed cottage, the scenic grounds, the impeccable service, and the overall charm of the resort all came together to make our stay completely lovely and memorable. We are Napa locals and love to book local getaways, so weve experienced many of the amazing hotels in the area, but few can deliver on so many levels as Carneros Resort can. Its definitely my slice of heaven.
Rooms: Private cottages, very comfortable bed, spacious bathrooms
Food & drinks: Resort restaurants are top-notch. Boon Fly Cafe is an excellent casual option. FARM is one of our favorite fine dining options in the valley. We also enjoyed the breakfast at the Hilltop.
Noteworthy details: Gas fireplace, heated bathroom flooring, gorgeous private patio with outdoor tub and outdoor shower
