    I reserved this hall on 05/06/23 I went to view this hall on 05/01/23 and noticed the hall was dirty, I reach out to the person whom I had reserved from. I ask him was the hall going to be clean for rental for the 6th at that time I informed him I have a cleaning business and would be willing to clean the hall for an extra hour. He told me he had a cleaner, who called me the day before my event Michelle was her name she told me that her and her husband were going to clean the hall and that I should leave it as I find it, well I arrived at the hall at 10am I reserved it from 10am-5pm the hall was dirty as I had seen it on the 1st I called the person from whom I reserved it from I got no answer I sent him a text message to inform him that the hall was dirty and that I was very upset, I then reached out to Michelle she told me something came up and she would come and clean the hall after she ran her errands. I told her my event starts at noon it is now 10:30 I reached back out to the person I rented from and his wife told be to breath and to wait for Michelle and hung up in my face. I called my daughter to bring me my cleaning supplies. I began cleaning the hall I was very upset, Michelle walked in at 11:57 with a bucket in her hand at that point I started to record her arrival time and what she did and the time she left 12:23 she came in and wipe the counter and sink out the microwave was left nasty, I had already vacuumed, mopped, cleaned the bathroom etc. I spent 2hr. cleaning the hall which left me no time to set up my daughter's decorations, a few balloons and a half put together back drop. this was my daughter's 30th birthday ruined all because I rented a dirty hall that I spent 2 hours cleaning my guest started to arrive and began helping me set up. My event was supposed to be a sip and paint brunch, we ended up skipping breakfast and went straight into lunch. I will never rent this hall again, oh and did I mention it was a office space with ppl in and out of their offices, and I even left the place cleaned. Don't waste your time or money very unprofessional, insensitive and rude! Gave me the run around for my $250 deposit back. Im suing for my full return.

    We first used this hall two years ago with a deposit of $250 and it states on this website that the deposit is refundable. The last time we used this hall was 6/21/20 and paid $260 again to use it. But because of the Covid I specifically asked the owner Mark Wolfe if we can cancel our event for the last Sunday of June 2020 and use it for future events. He, the owner text me and said to text the lady thats in charge of the hall, Ms Alka and include him in the text message. I texted Alka and included Mark Wolfe that since the funds has been paid and we cancel our even due to restrictions on Covid, wil it be ok to use the hall for future events (since funds has already been paid). They both agree! I have been texting, calling Alka and no response from her. I text Mark Wolfe and the respond was Zelle $100 deposit and he will accommodate our event. Mind you, they still have $250 of our deposit and the extra $260 we paid. I again explained why do we need to deposit when the have $510 of our funds and I provided proof of the invoice and prof of it being paid 6/28/20. Now, Im told that his terms are $200 to use the hall for my event. They want me to pay an extra $200 on top of the $510 of my money they already have...
