Java Teak

We researched several outdoor furniture stores online and in person. Living in Burlingame, I was hesitant to travel to Newark, but it was definitely well worth the trip. Mike at Java Teak was knowledgeable honest and authentic. We purchased a very nice teak table that seats 8 with 2 leaves that easily fold under. And 8 sturdy chairs with cushions. Absolutely wonderful quality at a truly fair price! And Mike personally delivered on a weekend.

Exploring new furniture for 19 lobbies/hallways in our condo complex, I was happy to discover Java Teak and to work with Mike for the selection of chairs, benches, tables, and fabric selections for cushions. Mike offered us great prices. Service and communications has been just fine considering the pandemic and universal supply chain problems. This review is long overdue. We have been going to Java Teak for our backyard furniture for a few years and Mike has been great to work with. Started off with an outdoor dining set and just purchased a sofa and chairs. The quality of the teak furniture is top notch (way more solid than the stuff you will find at a big box stores) and Mike always provides great customer service. Couldn't be happier with our backyard oasis that Java Teak helped furnish.

Just a shoutout to Mike ... we bought an oval table and eight chairs four years ago, and they've been a great addition to our outdoor living space. The chairs, however, have had a couple of issues -- cracking at the joints and, in one case, a complete failure. Mike switched out that chair for us a couple of years ago, but we recently had three more with similar problems suggesting they, too, were going to fail.I reached out to Mike and asked if we could switch out the chairs altogether. I didn't expect to get eight new chairs for free -- the chairs are four years old, after all -- but I hoped we'd get some consideration. And we did -- Mike gave us a very fair price on eight new chairs, which we're thrilled with!Thanks, Mike, for standing behind your products and working with us. Very much appreciated!
