I think that's going overboard," he says. "There's certainly a fair amount of research literature that shows time-outs can be effective in changing problem behavior." He also says that time-outs--by allowing parent, as well as child, the chance to calm down--may help worked-up moms and dads avoid shouting, grabbing, or other aggressive forms of discipline."My daughter has experienced brief, quiet timeouts at school and she's expressing why she was "in trouble." She is more aware that using her words and not her hands is more effective.

My son loves this school! He cried whole days at the other school, but he never cried at Christ the King preschool. Teachers are very kind and they care about kids very well with love. My son is waiting for going back to school...!!!

My son loves Christ the King so much! He has been going here for 2 years. All the teachers are super loving and wants to get to know everyone in the family. Through the pandemic, we have gotten lots of brainstorming ideas for entertaining and educating our child and they even drop off surprise gifts a few times at our door that my son loved. This is definitely his home away from home.

My twins have been attending Christ the King since they were 3 years old, First I would like to say this Preschool is AMAZING we first came across this school last year 2019 around Halloween, the school put together a Pumpkin Patch (which by the way was the BEST EXPERIENCE EVER) we met Mrs. Sarah the Director & welcomed us...she was very polite & inviting! My husband, twins & myself felt very much at home! After talking to her for a while we explained to her we had been looking for a Preschool where we would feel comfortable & know our kids would be safe, she offered us a tour of the school that evening & gave us ALL the information. She then introduced us to the Pastor & some of the teachers which by the way all very nice & very welcoming! Well let me just say, my twins not only LOVED the tour of  the school, they were excited to start & felt very comfortable with Mrs Sarah, Pastor Tim & the teachers! After a second tour of the school (I had asked if it was okay because we really wanted to meet the rest of the teachers & staff) & I really wanted my kids to meet them as well, Mrs Sarah was not only knowledgeable & answered all of my questions she followed up with us & brought us peace of mind with all of my concerns. Second, I would like to say my twins were with Mrs. Tipton for a short period & loved her but soon after were with Mrs. Brown she is truly ONE OF A KIND! I have a boy & a girl...my daughter immediately felt a connection with her & both love her very much! She's very witty, puts together the BEST ideas for the kids and is very nurturing (she's like a mother figure to them) my kids & I see how the other kids simply ADORE HER!!! Lastly, I really want to stress the fact how just like other parents are concern about COVID we never in a million years question our kids going back to Christ the King when they re-opened. The school took & are taking this matter very serious, here are some examples of what measures they took. Most of the learning & playground time is taking place outdoors, they added more shaded areas to accommodate the kids in order for them to feel comfortable & stay cool, teachers & family members are required to wear mask (teachers are wearing face shields), only 1 family member is allowed to enter the campus to drop off or pick up your children, as the kids enter the campus the parent electronically check-in the kids answers a a couple of questions concerning COVID & take the children's temperature. The made it really easy for the parents & kids when dropping off the faucet to wash their hands is right next to the electronic check-in. Kids are asked to wash their hands coming & leaving the school & as ALWAYS they are washing their hands constantly through out the day (this was always done prior to Covid) As soon as the school re-opened my twins started attending & thank goodness for the measures the school took & is taking my kids are safe and sound & most important they are physical interacting with their classmates, enjoying school & learning.  Honestly, my kids don't qualify for TK but had they did, we would have kept them at Christ the King until Kindergarten started with the hope that by then they would be physically attending!I would highly recommend Christ the King the school & staff are truly one-of-a-kind!
