We have been Marriott owners since 1993 which, we were told, qualifies us as "legacy owners" . Our time here made us realize it is an empty title. We were given a set of rooms in the lowest section of the resort, encompassed by trees with no view.
On the 2nd night the people occupying the room above us engaging a free for all for about 20 minutes. We called the desk. The sent security an hour later. The security guard told us he got the call from the Marriott desk "10 minutes ago".
No need to go on. Suffice it to say this is a far cry from the Marriott service we had when we first bought in.
Rooms: Substandard for Marriott
Nearby activities: Lots to do within driving distance off campus
Walkability: Easy to get around for the upper third of the property. The rest is downhill.
