It is rare to find a good acting class and it is even more rare to find a great one, so I must've been exceptionally lucky when I found Studio A. Waymon and Jake offer a unique and valuable perspective which attend not only to the skills actors need to develop as part of their craft, but also the practical skills they need to make it in the industry. As seasoned professionals and veterans in television and film production the Studio A Acting Class team provides in-depth feedback, hands on training, and answers questions from their perspective/ experience as a Directors, Casting Directors, and Producers. During my time at Studio A, I only ever felt that my progress as an actor and my career as an actor were of the utmost priority to Waymon and Jake. I would recommend this class to actors of all levels of experience.

Run by a dynamic duo of director and working actor, both instructors provide unique and invaluable insight into what it takes to build a successful career in the entertainment industry.
Many acting classes focus solely on acting as an art form, Studio A Acting focuses on the technical skills you will need on set: hitting your mark, volume control when miced, eye line, on camera scene readings, and branding. All culminating in a final day on set shooting a short with a group of your peers that has been written just for you.

I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone! It was the perfect combination for actors, directors or anyone that wants & needs to get more experienced on camera. I enjoyed Studio A Acting class so much when I moved to LA, I am enrolling in the same class again. Ive done my research & fair share of other acting classes, you get so much out of this particular studio from ACTUAL on camera work & a short film at the end of the class! Love working with Jake & Waymon they are fun, REAL experience guys & dont sugar coat it type of feedback which is much more valuable for me to grow as an actor.
