I've been going to Josh's class for 5 years and he has helped me grow as an actor more than any other class I've taken has. His classes are a good mix of fun, but also productive. I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am without his classes.

This is the place to study if you want to elevate your craft and audition technique. In class you have the opportunity to audition in front of a room and get honest, constructive feedback from a working veteran in the business. Josh will help you find all the hidden stuff you didnt see in the script. All the details that will give you the tools you need to bring to life what the writer intended. Studying here has been game changing for me. Highly recommend.

Ive been taking class here for about a year and I feel like Ive made immense progress with my acting. Josh is really committed to each actor and has so much knowledge of the industry. He makes it easy to break down an audition script and his notes are always specific and helpful. He creates a safe space for us to explore and make strong choices and I really appreciate that!

One of the more interesting aspects of this studio is the sense of loosened collaboration to favor the structural aspects of an ever changing industry. Auditing constructive notes for others helps build a more well rounded understanding of the art. Leave it to the studio to build and strengthen a mix of individuals in order to bring life to a page!

I've been at Josh's studio for about a year now and all I can say is wow. I have grown exponentially as an actor through attending his class as I ever have in the years I've been pursuing acting.
First, the class size is just right. There are about 15/16 students in each class and everyone has a chance to go up in front of their peers and show their choices. Josh analyzes each person's performance and will give compliments and critiques that we take and re-apply to the scene. I love that no student gets overlooked and everyone is given their own focus. All classes have students who are all in different points of their acting timeline. Beginner's, veterans and everyone in between. You really get the best advice from your peers and Josh is also still in the game. I've learned a lot about the industry just from speaking to my fellow actors and learning from their experiences.
Second, there are all kinds of acting methods out there, and without giving anything away (you'll have to take a class to find out!), Josh's method has been one of the easier kinds to apply to my acting. It's one thing to understand but takes lots of practice to really get it right. And you have a chance to do so every week.
Classes are on Week-nights and the studio is in the convenient city of Noho. I see myself staying here for as long as I can.
I've never felt so much closer to my goal of making it big as an actor and Josh's class really helped. Please don't sleep on this studio!
