This has been a wonderful preschool for our children. Beyond the basic learn and social skills the kids development here, the dance/singing that they perform at their Spring Sing and Christmas concerts is just wonderful. The Trike-A-Thon and Science walk are two very special events that are amazing and you won't find at any other school. Laurel Hall Early Childhood Center is a gem.

This place has been great. Small classes, lots of learning, creativity and exploration. I have really seen my kid thrive and become well adapted. For whatever reason the girl/boy ratio seems about 5:1. The student teacher ratio is great and we really like the teachers. Everyone loves the new director Ms. Sam, and she really does seem to be an asset. All the kids know each other and seem to get along, no drama. Campus seems well put together. Activities like snow day, the trikeathon, spring sing, Christmas recital and parents night out are all fun. Can't really complain, and kid #2 is in the pipeline to attend.

Under the new direction of Samantha Kester, the ECC is flourishing. Not only has the pre-school gotten a physical facelift, but Ms.Sam has created a community of teachers dedicated to the safety and well being of their students. The students are encouraged to learn and grow, each in their own way. Many of the teachers have been at ECC for several years, so the issues that arise with constant turnover are not there. If you are looking for a great pre-school, look no further!

Our daughter has been going here since she turned two. She's now four. We absolutely love all of the teachers. They are kind, gentle, and genuinely interested in each individual child. Their dedication and commitment to creating interesting classroom projects and environments blows me away. The school recently promoted its assistant director to director for this school year (Sept. 2018), and she's amazing. She has made some great upgrades to the play yards and to the afternoon curriculum. The school focuses on fun ways to educate children at their age-appropriate learning level. I love that they incorporate cooking, STEAM activities, science experiments, and art every week for every age. They also just added daily Spanish lessons for all ages. I'm always excited to see what's on the schedule for the day. Also, the school incorporates AMAZING special activities for the students, like a snow day (where a snow machine fills the yard), trike-a-thon (a fundraiser), Christmas and Spring sings with choreographed dances, and Science Walk and Family Night. The Scene Walk is truly mind-blowing. Each classroom is completely transformed to showcase what particular area of science that grade has been studying, even two-year-olds!My daughter LOVES it here. She's there all day from 8:30-5 and asks to stay longer when I pick her up! I never feel guilty dropping her off because I know she loves it.She's made sweet friends who she's always excited to see. The families there are diverse, kind, and very supportive. Overall, we just feel so lucky to have found this school! We like it so much that we'll be going across the street to the "Big School," Laurel Hall, for grade school.

Laurel Hall Early Childhood Center (ECC ) is the best preschool your child can attend. We have two kids and they both have been through the ECC program. Our kids loved every minute of their three years there and we were constantly amazed by the growth we witness in each one of them. Director, Sam Kester . She is an amazing woman and leader. She loves each one of these kids so much. She's actively & lovingly involved in all of kids lives while at ECC. And you can often find Sam in the classroom playing and interacting with the kids.Her office door is always open for the kids and parents. Sam is constantly improving an already great playground. And the kids often involved in extra fun activities like snow day, trike-a-thon and many more. The teachers at Laurel Hall Early Childhood Center (ECC) are all so very nurturing to the kids. I will try to remember all of their names : Miss Claudia, Miss Marcela, Miss Lulu, Miss Carrie , Miss Olivia, Miss Jocelyn , Miss Wendy, Miss Casey. These women are the greatest ! When you drop off your child you can be assured that they are like the second mommy for our kids in school. I know choosing a preschool seems a little intimidating, especially when it's the first time you are putting one of your own into preschool. Rest-assured, ECC is simply a wonderful choice for your child. It's a magical little place where kids memories will last a lifetime.
