Instills a confidence, awareness, strategic mindset, discernment and discipline that has been tested in the streets. The lessons I learned 20+ years ago are still with me, both in my mental memory and in my muscle memory, today. To be a woman in Los Angeles who can read the room, instantly identify multiple potential dangers/response options, and be five steps ahead in any given situation (including a fire fight) is invaluable. I trained with this instructor 1999-2006, then with another instructor in the same style 2011-2015.  I also trained with Bujinkan, a typical MMA gym, Kapap, and then 5 years with an MMA school tailored to criminal violence.  I also have expanded deep into firearms training and instruction.  Looking back on nearly 20 years of training, with multiple instructors and styles, I feel that this instructor's curriculum and teaching style results in an offering that excels at developing ferocity and toughness in a short time, cultivating a tiger, yet has breadth and depth of techniques that will have you refining your lethality with new details and optimizations years later.  My first few years in this program was some of the most physically demanding training, yet exposed me to some of the most detailed explanations of how to punch or kick harder and faster.  If you are comparing this school to typical MMA, this curriculum trains many techniques that are banned in MMA competitions yet are essential on the street; decide what you are training for.
