I came to see Allison for treatment of both wrist tendonitis and de Quervain's tenosynivitis in my left wrist, both triggered by a sports injury. I had been injured already for several months and had tried everything -- although I had never tried acupuncture, my trainer recommended it to me, so I figured I'd give it a go.
Allison is located conveniently next to my work, and has ideal office hours for someone like me who can't leave their 9-6 office job in the middle of the day. In her first email, Allison was extremely helpful and informative, and she even helped me figure out my insurance coverage for treatment.
I started seeing her 2x/week to treat my de Quervain's, and also some allergies that I have. Right after the first treatment, I noticed a difference. After going for maybe 6-8 weeks at this rate, I started noticing a sustained improvement in my condition. Around this point, Allison also had me take some herbal supplements, after which I noticed a huge difference in my recovery. The herbs + acupuncture together were really effective for me.
During each meeting, Allison was extremely attentive, knowledgable, answered all of my questions, and made sure i was comfortable. On top of that, she's a very kind person with great bedside manner, and was very flexible and accommodating of my payment schedule, which I appreciated. I started recommending her to all my coworkers too since I've had such a great experience with her, and would definitely recommend her if you're having any pain or stress-related issues.
