If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Amit is a scammer. He takes advantage of women. Since when does it cost $285 to unlock a car door? Then with "added taxes and fees" $380 with NO receipt of any kind? Also cash or card only but when I don't have that kind of cash on me all of a sudden your card reader isn't working so I need to Zelle payment to you while you keep my keys from me? The police have been notified as well as the BBB. Avoid at all costs, ESPECIALLY if you're a woman alone that doesn't want to be intimidated and taken advantage of by a man.

Where is the update on key smith being Zelled to his personal account and why did he feel comfortable holding her keys. What's your price breakdown? How do come up with your taxes and fees. Do you as company not keep track of the services performed on your business name.

If you're a single woman, stay away from this place. I don't like to post bad experiences every time I encounter one and I guess it's my fault for having the locksmith open my car door after he quoted me $280 when he originally arrived (I locked my keys in the car). After he opened the door, he then quoted me $375 stating due to taxes and. Like seriously!! I feel so taken advantage of and just foolish to pay, but not being from Oakland, I just googled this busiess. After the car door was opened, I paid due to the tech imitimidation of holding on to my keys, I asked for a receipt and he couldn't provide one, to call the office. I called the business back to ask for an itemized receipt and asked why was the price changed from when he initially quoted me. I was told they would send my concerns to the "office" for a call back and I would get emailed a reciept and neither has happened. The tech name was Amit (or at least that's the name he gave.) They would never take advantage or price gouged if I were a man.
