        We had a savory and a sweet crepe. Delicious! Friendly and fast service. We found parking nearby, at the Barn.

        Breakfast was great, I got a Denver omelet, and my husband got a short stack of pancakes. We have eaten dinner at the location in Palo Alto, very good burgers. Very good food all around. My husband loves that we order and pay first, so we can leave when we want.

        Anyone used to French and european Crpes and galettes wont recognise whats served here. I ordered the crepe with blueberries and banana expecting a healthy portion of fruit with a crispy crepe. What I was served was a gloopy sweet mess of sugary syrup with cooked blueberries and bananas and a soft crepe. The sweetness was way too much for me. The whole dish tasted and looked like heart attack on a plate. My Italian American friend ordered a savoury crepe which wasnt much better. Despite spending over 45 dollars we left it all and went for healthy tacos around the corner. Very disappointed with this place. Update - Just saw the owners generous response. Ive added a star for him taking the time to respond. Yup, Im at fault for not raising my complaint at the time so they could deal with it. And fair enough if its known not to be a french crepe place - not sure how people like me would know though - maybe make it clearer?

        I have been coming to this establishment in Oakland as well as throughout the whole Bay Area for really great consistent meals. Generous portions as always.

      The Crepevine was built and created by our family to be a gathering place for families, friends, professionals and students. In our menu, you will always find something exciting to eat; and certainly, our youngest guests will never be disappointed. At the Crepevine we take great pride in providing the freshest, healthiest, ingredients we can buy, such as organic, fair-trade coffee, ocean raised Canadian salmon, and 100% natural beef that has never been given any antibiotics or hormones. Most of our fruits and vegetables are purchased from local farmers and growers. We use 100% Grade A pure maple syrup. All of our dressings and sauces are made from scratch in our own kitchen, including our pancake mix.
