        Beautiful place. Spaced out. Road is really rocky and unmaintained so go slow. Couldn't figure out how to pay, so it was free.

        Nice BLM land on a old volcanic field. Very interesting science background here. Quiet and spacious and sites with even a picnic table and fire rings! I took my jeep for a ride on the back dirt roads plenty of space to roam and using the 4x4 was not really needed on the lower tracks! Plus pretty solid internet too!!

        Nice area. It would be nice if there was more information on things to see here . I was told there is petroglyphs in the area but unable to locate

        I really enjoyed camping here on my road trip. The sites are spacious and spread out. I could barely hear or see my neighbors. Sites have a fire ring. There are vault toilets and a hiking trail nearby. Really good price.
