Nick is awesome! He was able to fix the mini split system we had installed when no one else was able to figure out what the issue was. I highly recommend him, he's honest, the prices are extremely fair and if he is unsure of the issue he will straight up let you know and research it.

Had him put in a multi split unit in September. I used the bedroom unit maybe 10 times for heat in the winter with no problems. Then I used it 3 or 4 times for the ac for maybe an hour each time during the hottest part of the day. Then the next time I turned on ac it had a horrible burning smell. Since this was a Saturday I waited until Monday to call on warranty. I left voice-mail with no response. I called again on Tuesday was told he would come Wednesday between 2:30 & 3pm. 4pm no show no call. Called again he didn't remember my call and now says 7pm. He shows up with attitude, first says he can't smell horrific smell. Then says unit is fine with a 2 second glance over and starts blaming smell on everything in the book. Perfume probably got in it ( we don't use any perfumes, scented candles, ect.. because of allergies) insulted me by saying my room must not be cleaned enough when my room is completely dusted, vacuumed and wiped down at minimum once a week. He finally decided having dogs will make your ac have a horrific burning smell. And remember it's not both units only the bedroom unit. I truly regret using him. Warranty or not I still would have given some kind of tip but again he came out rude and with an attitude. Horrible customer service after he takes your money. Update: after posting review he did call and come back and spray stuff in ac and put chlorine tablets in it. So now not only does it still smell like it's burning but it is also spitting oily brownish- black nasty stuff all over my room when I try to run the unit!!!! I'm going to have to pay someone else to fix/replace the faulty unit that is supposed to still be under warranty. Then both file lawsuit and report to BBB. Don't trust this company. They DO NOT honor their warranties!!! 2nd update: sears repair guy found leaking evaporator coil getting oily substance on motor and causing burning smell. 3rd update: after pro tech playing more games with me promising in text to call me and make appointment to come back and then never calling I had another local company out. I found out that the original job required a permit( per California law ALL New HVAC installs require permits) and Nick straight out lied to us and told us the job didn't need permits. Then according to New AC guy all the wiring is in wrong kind of casing and the drip lines should be coated in uv protection and that was not done!

Wow, Nick is the type of guy you want for a friend. Saw his five star reviews, Very hard to maintain that. We have a Carrier high efficiency system installed in 2006 for $10K. He fixed it. It's all done runs great. He also cleaned blower squirrel cage. It had. Rodents. Dead. In it. Frogs. And years of dust. Anyway he didn't charge for that. And he cleaned conditioner coil out side. Believe me. He saved a couple thousand or maybe $15K for a new system that I'm sure others would have pushed. Nick said from the start, "I knew this one was bad. All the way. Either. Big money fixing or new unit. I decided to give you guys breaks on labor and didn't mark up parts." Mom's house is over a hundred years old and she is 99. We couldn't take the heat. Nick came over within the hour. Can't say enough about this guy.
