The Old St. Angela Inn

We were lucky to get a last minute booking at the inn; the room we stayed in was the Crows nest. We were pleasantly surprised by the view of the bay that the room offered! Having only stayed in Airbnbs in the past few years, it was a delight to be served a fresh, hot and hearty breakfast every morning. They were very accommodating to our vegetarian needs. The location cant be beat - just a two minute walk to the coast! It was lovely to be able to get out of the inn and walk to the ocean within minutes every morning. They were also very kind to give us two guest passes to the aquarium; we were least expecting it and were delighted by that gesture. Would absolutely stay here again! Walkability: Fantastic location! Walkable to the ocean and to the best pasta of Pacific Grove! Food & drinks: For a small inn, we were surprised by how creative they get with breakfasts every morning! Love the presentation of the breakfast as well and they always have freshly baked muffins available.

We loved our stay in the Bay Room - you certainly can see the bay, and the fireplace was very nice! The room and the entire inn are so quaint and cozy, with a lot of homey decor and other touches. Homemade breakfast was really lovely as well - we had a different breakfast entree every day, and they were all delicious. Angela and the other staff are all very kind and attentive. Parking was very close and free, and the trail along the coast is not even a 5 minute walk downhill. We would love to stay here again when we're back in the area - either in the Bay View room again or in a new room!
