My experience was not the best, went in to ask about a recommendations on a project, and told them what I needed , they didnt know what the part was , they sent me to the back building no one was there one worker didnt acknowledge me, the other worker I asked went to go look for someone and helped someone else along the way and didnt get back to me. If you come in here you better know what you need or else you are most likely on your own. No customer service

If you like nothing to be done right ever, this is your place. First, I was told I'd be called back later today for more info on my special order . I was, but that was the end of it. On that first day when I recieved a call back, I was told I'd have an estimate and potential delivery date in the next couple days. 10 days went by, and I finally made it back over there ( I tried calling several times, but nobody had any clue about anything). When I walked back in I was told, oh sorry, I lost all your info. Let's start over. So, we did. This time, the product was located and ordered the next day. It was extremely expensive, but for a special that I would have to have milled after I pick it up from hayward, I expected that. I was told it should be here within a week. Again, two weeks later, I call a few times, nobody has any clue how to help me. I awaited a call back for another week, and finally I called them back, only to be told my order had come in 19 days ago, and they just forgot to notify me. After all of that, the wood they ordered is going to be 1/8 too thin after milling, because he didn't order correctly, and all sections have to be ripped . Such a joke. My brother is a contractor and hayward can't figure our why he won't use them anymore. He said this is exactly why. They make home depot look good, and that's hard to do.
