No one will help with the crazy water bill for my one bedroom apt. Charging me for 9400 gallons. I have tried three times to get them to help without response.

Ive tried calling the company and have no luck! One time i got through started talking to someone then the line hung up! Has to be the worst cuatomer service ever!

Do not use their Auto payment. I was overcharged 500% more, randomly, for one month of water usage. The "customer support " team accused it of being a leak despite me telling them it was a misread and having proof of my meter. I was told the best they could do is POSSIBLY refund a credit to my water bill account after a full service inspection of the unit I rent and it's surrounding area. Being that I am a renter and a water bill credit that large would be ridiculous, it was not an acceptable solution. I insisted on speaking to a manager, and I spoke to a woman by the name of Angie. Angie took my concern seriously and she was able to reverse the bill and ensure that the check was on its way. I probably won't be fully reimbursed for the next couple weeks, but I appreciate the care and attention that Angie showed to my issue. I really wish the other customer support staff was on the same page and had the same dedication to solving an obvious error on the behalf of American water. I would give Angie a five star on her efforts alone, but the rest of the customer service staff is less than helpful. Nothing but errors on my last three bills absolutely awful company to deal with.
