Town and Country Nursery School

I was referred here by my sons friend and I must say it was not a disappointment . Staff is very detailed and committed to the kids success in everyday affairs. I like how they are attentive and responsive about my inquiries and request as a parent and how well laid out the campus is and how patient and kind the staff is. Highly recommend this place!

The location is beautiful and the essence of childhood is celebrated and supported at this wonderful school. The parent support through their classes is amazing. A true, special gem!

We love this place so much. Play based school in a beautiful nature setting. You can't beat the location! The entire staff and teachers are amazing, it's a wonderful community. My daughter will do 3 years here and my youngest will join when she's 2.5 years old. They also do parenting classes as well.

I have read all the reviews on here about T&C and I agree with all the 5 stars reviews. My son is in his 2nd year and I will be sending my little one there next year too. I cannot say enough great things about this school, it is that wonderful! I think ( as 1 or 2 reviewers already stated) our children will have the rest of their life to learn academics and have books and lessons plans shoved in their face, preschool is a time to play while having fun hence the learn through play philosophy. This school does a fantastic job at letting kids learn while having loads of fun, so the reviewer who stated that they didn't teach ABC's or 123's was incredibly inaccurate. My son comes home singing an ABC song that also teaches phonics, perfect! He knows how to count to a higher number then when I attempted to teach him 6 months ago. Yes, they are a learn through play preschool and a great one at that, my son has learned so much at this school it's so amazing and I love how happy and eager he is to go back to learn more. I also need to add that I decided this school was/is  perfect for my son mainly because he has always been incredibly independent and what most parents deem as strong willed, he is not swayed easily and therefore I needed a place that can not only work with but harness his amazing personality and teach him how to utilize that in a positive way. They have not only done a great job teaching my son what he'll need for his future in school, they have also helped him learn socially. Although I've wanted to attend the parent education classes I haven't been able to (but have never felt as though I was required to by any staff members as 1 reviewer stated), however just witnessing and randomly talking to various staff members, I have learned so much about how to be a better parent in so many ways. This school truly is a great place for any family, and it's not in any way a stretch to say the BEST in South Bay!The BEST!! I feel lucky to have my kids attend such a wonderful school.

This school is amazing. When my kids were very little, neighbors began approaching me and telling me that their kids went to Town and Country and loved it, and the parents highly recommended the school. When it came time to choose a school, I was thrilled. The school teaches in a way that is in line with my beliefs - kids need to be outside, they need to be allowed to play and get dirty, they need to be given some freedoms, they need to learn how to resolve conflict with each other, and they need teachers who can gently buy firmly step in when needed.
