Just enjoyed an anniversary stay at Terranea. 4 pm check in time is de rigueur. Friendly check in clerk, happy anniversary greeting and great offer to enjoy an upgrade. Suite on the 6th floor it is then. Book your tables early, especially on weekends. We lucked out at Nelson's, wait 30 min for a table when so many were available ( same table still available 30 min later hmmm! Only then to wait for 45 min for lukewarm burger and fries. Used to love Nelson's do not now. Tried to book a Sunday evening table at Mar Sel but they are closed on Sunday evening. Booked Bashi instead and loved it. Everything has been perfect at Terranea, only wished though that we could hear the sound of the ocean. Instead the humm of the pool filter is the background sound heard from the main building. Terranea, there is an idea, however costly. So close to the ocean, you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves.We loved the Vista pool away from the screaming kids and also away from the other adult pool with the constant thump thump from the musical entertainment. Loved the valet ap. Text your ticket number, get a text back when your car will be available. Note the $60 parking fee per day with in and out privileges. Sad to leave today at the given 11 am checkout time!

Great resort and scenic drive and walk,nice places to eat right on the coast of Peninsula. I will go back for hikes and dinner next time.
