Found Cor and his crew digging the public parkland for soil and rocks without permission for a job they were doing in the neighborhood. When I approached them and asked them not to disturb and dig the public land without permit, Cor first denied. Then after I told him I videotaped them doing that, he said he did not know and it was the first time he worked in this city. Then he became hostile. This incident was reported to the city.

When Cor of Paradise Landscaping came to my home, I explained to him that I was looking for serenity and tranquility. I gave him the task of landscaping my entire backyard (4,692 sq. ft.) in addition to putting in a Koi Pond. He quoted me a fair price and he and his team went to work. They reconstructed boarder walls, planted palm trees and other plants, created knolls, created a flat-stone walkway, installed a sophisticated sprinkler system which included drip irrigation, installed flood lights throughout, created a koi pond which included two waterfalls, and reconstituted my backyard lawn. He did everything he said he was going to do and was even on time. He impressed me because he listened to me and was very attentive to what I wanted. His professionalism reminded me of how businesses use to treat their customers and clients. Cor treated me with respect and my opinions mattered. He made recommendations that enhanced my dream backyard. He was very cordial and polite and a pleasure to work with - even funny at times. He paid very much attention to detail. His knowledge and experience shows in his work. He exceeded my expectations and turned my backyard into a true landscaped paradise. I highly recommend Cor Van Diepan and I will be contracting again with Paradise Landscaping in the near future.

We highly recommend Paradise Landscaping. The owner of the company, Cor, and his men did a fantastic job at our home. They turned our dull front and backyards into places that are now beautiful They installed paving stones, creating a beautiful driveway and walkways with low voltage lighting, installed artificial turf, and created planters with short slump stone walls. Cor also helped us choose the new plants to go into our planter areas. I think you will be pleased if you use them. Bruce & Ruth - Torrance

Paradise Landscaping is superb! Cor, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to work with. And, he was less expensive. One of my biggest concerns was on site management. Cor was personally on the job everyday supervising tasks and coordinating delivery of materials. My project was fairly big, 2500 sq ft. It included demolition of trees, shubs, and driveway; soil preparation of all areas for planting; installation of new sprinkler systems; laying a new system pavers driveway; and planting new shrubs, tree, sod, and ground covers. They completed this job during the heavy rains in Jan/Feb, but Cor juggled the challenges in stride. His 4 man Crew was exceptional. They worked hard with almost no breaks. They each knew their job and worked well together. His Mason layed a system pavers driveway as well as anyone. I have nothing but praise for their work. The front of my house looks great!
