This shop has gorgeous antique reproduction frames unlike other framing outlets sell: simply beautiful, high-end, quality work done. The owner has a great eye for color and designs magnificent mattings also. I have shopped here for over twenty years and will not frame artwork anywhere else! Portraits of the family, oil paintings, diplomas, needlepoint; they do it all. Lesley NEVER disappoints! Great shop!

We had one of our pieces of art reframed by Gilt Edge.  Lesley was a pleasure to work with and had great suggestions and many frames to choose from.  It was a fairly complicated piece and the end result was very pleasing,  a first class job!  I highly recommend Gilt Edge for framing.  They also have many nice pieces of art for sale. GREAT framing store! Lesley is super friendly and really is a wonderful designer. ...Helps to have her professional opinion which choosing mat board colors, etc. This shop has, hands down, the most beautiful frames of any framing establishment in California! We had the pleasure of using The Gilt Edge to reframe a beach scene painting we have.  The frame they built is of exquisite quality.  They did a lovely job!  We provided them several photos of our style and where in the house the art would be going, and she gave us several framing options to choose from, all of which were absolutely beautiful!  I was blown away by how she pulled in our design aesthetic with the colors of the artwork to gather such beautiful framing options! The owners have incredible customer service.  When we brought our frame home we noticed we had put a large knick in the frame before we even unwrapped it.  The owner was incredibly kind and offered to reframe it at no cost, just because she felt bad for us and wanted us to have an excellent experience.  We could not be happier with the quality and customer service of The Gilt Edge.  We highly recommend them.  10 out of 10 stars.
