The wait time here is always ridiculous I honestly dont know why they even give appointments when its never anywhere near the time they say they might as well just do walk ins only theyll say 9am and not call you in till like 10:30 this is always the case at this place with Dr. Mena. Get it together with the appointments.

I've been going to Dr Mena's since before he was at his current office. Since Dr. Mena is one of a few liver specialists in the country of Los Angeles, his patient's list has well increased. I am very pleased and extremely comfortable with being seen by Iman who is very well educated, kind hearted and caring. I now specifically request to be seen by Iman and make my appointments around her scheduled availability. I've never had a problem with my appointment, it saddens me to see so many complaints when I personally never experienced it. I always receive emails reminding me of my schedule appointments. If you have not requested to be notified by email/text of your upcoming schedule appointment, I highly recommend you do. I have no complaints and I have been a patient for over 10 years.

Horrible customer service. I have called the office maybe 10 times, been on hold for 20- 30 minutes trying to make an appointment. No one answers their phone. Never had this issue in any Medical office . Their answer is we get 100 calls a day. Really???

I heard positive comments about Dr. Mena and I was trying to get an appointment. However, their phone system or office service is horrible. I tried calling several times at various hours and all I get is an answering machine that it does not allow to hold or even to leave a message for someone to callback. Very disappointing. Reading the reviews, they are mostly related to office staff. Is sad to see that good doctors dont pay attention to their staff behavior and I would presume much less read reviews left but their patients.

He's a great Doctor but other than that, his staff never answers the phone been trying to get an appointment for the last 5 weeks was calling 4 to7 time a day Finally I got one.
