Dr. Yung grew up in Southern California and feels very fortunate to have the opportunity to serve her community as a medical professional. Dr. Yungserves the San Gabriel Valley area including Pasadena, Arcadia, Glendale, Alhambra, and San Marino.Dr. Yung received her Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Irvine, and went on to obtain her Medical Degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Los Angeles County--USC Medical Center in 2005. After completing her residency, she joined a private practice in Covina, CA. Dr. Yung became Board Certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2007 and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2007, Dr. Yung opened her own private practice in Pasadena where she thoroughly enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level while providing them with exceptional medical care integrating advanced skills and technology.Dr. Yung is highly skilled in the evaluation and management of uterine fibroids, abnormal vaginal bleeding, recurrent vaginal infections, Polycystic ovarian syndrome, and early cancer detection/ cancer prevention. She specializes in minimally invasive surgery, including operative Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopic Hysterectomy. Recognized for her contributions to the medical field, Dr. Yung has won a number of awards, including being named one of the Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists by Consumers Research Council of America. Dr. Yung is also well recognized as one of the Top Doctors by other physicians in multiple years.Furthermore, Dr. Yung has a passion for women's health and well-being, and strives to educate her patients about healthy living in a practical manner. Seeing far too often how the problems of excess weight have plagued her patients physically and emotionally, Dr. Yung sought to find attainable solutions for her patients. In 2017, Dr. Yung partnered with inHealth Medical Services to provide health coaching and weight loss coaching and guidance, through which many of her patients have experienced highly positive results. More recently, Dr. Yung has added a non-invasive procedure to her practice which promotes permanent fat loss to help her patients feel better and more confident, with the side effect of feeling more beautiful.**Note: Dr. Yung speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, Teochew, and Spanish
