DO NOT GO TO DR. LI! Not only is he questionable clinically but hes very unprofessional. Dr. Li would joke about NOT hearing a fetal heart beat at my third trimester appointments. He also once commented on me being pretty. My husband is a physician at Huntington Hospital. He started working there about a month before I delivered. When he asked other physicians about Dr. Li, they did not have the best things to say about him. Because we found this out just a few weeks before my delivery, it was too late to change OBs. However, once I was admitted to Huntington Hospital when I went into labor I ended up having the on-call OB deliver my baby. I did not feel comfortable having Dr. Li deliver my child. The L&D nurses also intimated that they themselves would not want Dr. Li delivering their baby. When both nurses and physicians have negative things to say about a provider, heed their warning and do not get care from said provider. Additionally, his office was extremely unorganized and rude. OBs through Huntington are supposed to have medical records on an electronic system. This is so that in the event of a precipitous delivery the on-call OB can access your history through the electronic record and therefore deliver you safely. Dr. Li was not compliant with this. All of his patient charts were paper. When I called to get hard copies of my patient information just prior to my due date, the secretary told me that I could not! My husband then got on the phone to explain how this was illegal. The secretary then hung up on my husband!!!! My husband and I ended up having to go to the office to pick up hard copies of my patient chart. In addition to this, the office repeatedly made errors with the paperwork for my private short-term disability insurance and disability through the state. Unfortunately, I had to follow up with Dr. Li for my 6 week postpartum check-up so he could close out my claim with the state. His ego was so bruised that he initially refused to perform the standard 6-week postpartum exam. He claimed that if I fired him for the delivery than he wasnt sure if I rehired him for the exam. I showed up for my appointmentI very obviously wanted him to do an exam. Other examples of his TERRIBLE bedside manner was him telling me how all of his partners have died because of how old he himself is (hes probably either late 70s or early 80s), being very evasive when you ask medical questions, not explaining anything that he does to you, and miscalculating my babys predicted birthweight by 50%! He said shed be around 8.5 lb, and she ended up coming out 6 lb. Its understandable to be off by 1 lb or so but to overestimate by almost 50% reflects his incompetence. He also told me that because of my pelvic anatomy I would have a very long labor. I ended up pushing for 30 minutes. Nearly everything this man told me was wrong. Huntington is a great hospital with great physicians. Unfortunately, Dr. Li is not of them

Dr. Li is the most patient, kind, and responsible doctor I have ever seen in the United States. My first baby and second baby were born smoothly from pregnancy to birth. Dr. Li has full authority to help deliver the babies. I like this good doctor very much. Office The nurses at the front desk are very good. Recently, due to family illness, Dr. Li recommended another neurologist to me. They are both very good doctors. You are all great! Thank you very much!

When other doctors weren't willing to take me, Dr Li did! And was able to schedule me to see another doctor for my 20 week scan the same exact day. He wasted no time calling him and getting me in.

Thank you doctor!!I and my husband want to say we are extremely grateful that Doctor Li delivered our first baby girl. I recovered from a very short period of time due to experienced delivery process. Thank you Doctor Li for always being so patient and funny to ease my mind and nervousness, which I felt throughout entire pregnancy. Doctor Li always put patients as first priority and work so professionally and patiently to provide such amazing support. I can't image how my pregnancy would be without getting the all help for Doctor Li. Thank you!!

Dr. Li delivered both my boys. I waited a long time to write this review but not a but he is in my thoughts frequently. After my youngest was born, I had an uterine artery embolism. I still thank God for Dr. Li. He knew what to do and his quick thinking and expertise saved my life. He was kind, dependable and put my mind at ease during both my pregnancies. He is the best doctor and I would highly recommend him!
