Incredibly overworked and negligent staff. Waiting times *with an appointment are often over half an hour. They lost lab results for me twice and completely failed to share genetics test results for my partner. Dr. Shah seems to be some sort of AI testing mechanism for the medical field. We never had a personable or warm encounter she didnt introduce herself or refer to me or my partner by name, even after 2 or 3 visits and when reviewing test results with my name on them. She always seemed to be in a rush to give her shpill and leave our visits. Her purpose was to deliver the standard information for that point in my pregnancy and absolutely nothing else. Dont even think about having questions or speaking about your experience. Our first red flag came appt one where she told me she didnt want to discuss my birth preferences because I had a lot to overcome before that was necessary instead shed rattle off everything that could cause miscarriage or still birth. We werent allowed to discuss the birthing plan but she mentioned *IF Im able to have my baby Id need to have a pediatrician on hand that day as she does not care for the baby.. I understand this may be true to a certain extent but her lack of care when communicating was pretty scary/ off putting for an 8 week appt. Fair Oaks doesnt provide a caring, competent and compassionate experience in my experience.

Its my first time being here and I love it that I choose this clinic ( thanks to my good friend ) The staff are amazing.. My first visit Mandy L. Is amazing, she explained everything step by step and she always ask if I have questions. To amazing Dr. Shah I love and adore her. She make sure I understand everything what to expect during pregnancy.

CHECK WITH YOUR INSURANCE FIRST. This provider is good if you need surgery or special care. It has outstanding physicians. If it is just regular checkups, i don't think it worthy it. For the two stars i didn't give, the reasons are: 1) FOWH handled its Cedars Sinai transition not so well. Please be aware you will receive a bill from "Cedars Sinai", which may be your out-network provider, even FOWH is still listed as your in-network provider. This will result an unexpected high bill. This happened to me. FOWH definitely didn't relay this potential consequence to me before or during my October 2023 visit. 2) Long wait time. The wait time is usually 20 minutes. But for my last visit, I waited ONE HOUR for a 15 minutes check up, i think it is outrages. I won't come back unless it is necessary. Again, if you need special care, this place is definitely worth it.
