Donahoo Roofing

I wish I could give a great review but I can't. I checked out several roofers and found Donahoo was supposed to be one a lot subcontracted through. I contacted them and they gave me a great price, especially since I was paying cash. They agreed to take off 2 layers of roof (there was only ), replace dry rot, put on new gutters and leaf guards. The owner came out 1 time to collect the cash. We walked the property and he found a couple things he thought should be changed, and I asked about a couple other things. He sent guys out, they were supposed to call and book it but just showed up, to fix those areas. After a small rain, I notices a leak in the gutters, so he sent a guy out to fix that, again, no call, just showed up. From the beginning, I asked him about a couple issues and he kept saying he would send someone out but never did. After the next rain, I sent him text, this is how we communicated from the beginning,  how the water was coming over the gutters right in my front door entrance. I can't go in or out without getting wet. I also told him there was a seam between the house and garage I was concerned about. For several months we sent text and I sent pictures back and forth. He refused to come out or send anyone and has since stopped even communicating with me. Now I'm seeing that my roof line is sagging. Quality and craftmanship of the custom gutters are horrible. My next step will be to call the roof inspectors and have it checked, the BBB, roofing contractors board and GAF the roof material company that they are supposed to be top roofers for. There are several other complaints I have not listed. I was unable to inform them of these because he refused to come out and texting was not getting anywhere. If I would have known the great price would have come with subpar work, I would have paid someone else more to do the job right.

Jody did our roof two years ago, and it is very nice. We've had a bit of critter activity lately, squirrels and raccoons on the roof. Jody was kind enough to send staff out to check it to be sure they had done no damage.  I highly recommend this company. They also did two roofs across the street and the 2 story next door. Best roofs around, and the price was extremely competitive. When the city building dept inspected it, the inspector told me they never have any issues with the roofs they put on. They are one of the better roofing contractors around.

Donahoo roofing scraped and cleared the roof quickly and efficiently. His team was very respectful to my mother, and her wants and needs of her garden. My father and I re-roofed, but the owner, Jody, not only gave my father a I a couple tips, but also made sure the inspection was complete before we began re-roofing. We ended up having Mr. donahoo and his team complete the re-roof. (It was too much for us). Have them give you a bid; it will be both competitive and thorough.

Amazing work, amazing customer service. During a week of high winds and heavy downpours of rain and ice my roof of 10 years developed a leak. Donahoo Roofing installed my roof 10 years ago. So, I gave Donahoo Roofing a call at 8:00am the flowing day after my discovery of the leak. Although my roof was out warranty, Jerry had his crew at my house in an hour. With in 30 minutes my roof was fix, no charge :). Serval days of heavy rain followed after the fix, no sign of a leak. Donahoo Roofing is my roofing company for life. Great craftsmanship, great customer service. Thanks Jerry and team!!!
