The Hospice of Petaluma is staffed by kind and caring people who helped us navigate a difficult time when our Father was dying.  I have only good things to say about their organization.  They really care about the person who is dying *and* about the people who are left behind to grieve.  I highly recommend them should you ever need their services.

Hospice of Petaluma has incredible staff who are welcoming and supportive.   I've been working with Hospice of Petaluma for my 92 year old grandmother for a year now and I only have great things to say about the staff and the care they provide.   They have been very compassionate, loving and caring individuals with excellent nursing skills and customer service. They respect my grandmas wishes if she choices not to take medication they recommend.  She is very stubborn at times.   :)  And they have the patience of angels.   I truly feel blessed to have this great company by my side during this difficult time.   Thank you Hospice from the bottom of my heart for your continued support.   I would highly recommend them to all of my friends and family.

My partner's mother came to live with us when she needed hospice a year ago.  While we were eager to make her final days as comfortable as possible we did not have a clue how to care for her and address all her needs.  Hospice of Petaluma was a remarkable resource and we can not thank them and their staff enough.  There was always someone on call to answer our questions and address any immediate concerns.  In fact, the on-call nurse came over at midnight just to make a visual check and alleviate our own discomfort.  She was very understanding and supportive.  The hospice program also had connections with other providers in the community whose services we were able to access.  As mental health professionals ourselves we were very impressed with the thoughtful and reassuring attention to detail that we received.

This is the very best place to entrust the last moments of your loved ones if:you secretly hate them- don't want their last wishes to be followed- are an undercover masochistic- or are a simple minded souless-life hating piece of dog $h!t.In close, I wouldn't trust one of these nurses as far as I could thow them, and if one offered me a glass of water, I'd sooner have it tested for every pathogen and toxen known to man, before ingesting it.I fully blame this organization for taking the life of one of my loved ones, and though I believe the work of hospice workers is hard and compassionate, I think some of the people in the field are in a fat hurry to kill off their patients and move on to the next one-collecting insurance money along the way.
