I started training for a half marathon last year and then began getting injured. The right hip started hurting and then my tendons started hurting. I had been working with the Bay Fitness who recommended I go see Josh at BaseCamp just to get an assessment and get a general idea of what was happening. I went in thinking I would just get an assessment and ended up buying a package because I was so sold with the approach Josh was using. I ended up getting a 10-package session and have seen amazing results. Right after I did this, I got into a terrible car accident where my left hip was injured. Josh has been able to help me with strength, form, and mobility and I am back to running at a really health pace. I really appreciate the atmosphere and working with Josh. He is super dedicated, funny, and genuine. I have seen other PTs which has felt like such a joke and a waste of time for me. I really feel like I get my money's worth here. I signed up for a marathon in November (it is March) and I have no doubt that I will be able to complete it. I highly recommend Josh at Basecamp because you will see results!

I had a horrible tear of my LCL and meniscus and the team at Basecamp worked diligently to understand my injury, provided me with targeted exercises and routines, and adjust based on my learning style. When you need a more comprehensive solution than what your insurance might offer, this is the place to go.

I was a competitive equestrian vaulter and am an all around athlete. I started having progressive lower back pain in my mid to late twenties. I thought it was something I would just need to deal with and had to limit doing things I loved. A friend referred me to Base Camp and Josh was not only able to determine what the issues were but help me strengthen and activate the muscles I needed. Not only am I pain free but I feel more confident and am able to do the activities I love again. Josh is such a good teacher and really gives you the tools and knowledge you need to progress even after you have completed your therapy.

I really found tremendous value with all my sessions at BaseCamp with the person named Nick. His attention to detail, great listing skills to knowing and understanding my issues were just a couple of things that helped my problems. Throughout my time with Nick, we solved my health issues at a really good pace while keeping my priorities in focus. The whole process and steps we took to address my issues were fantastic. If you are looking for a place that is looking out for your best interest and solving health issues, you should go here.

Can't say enough good things about Josh at BaseCamp Physical Therapy and his support staff. For reference, I commuted 3+ hours EACH WAY from a small city that didn't have anything like this, on recommendation from a friend, and it was worth every penny and every mind numbing minute fighting traffic on the I-80 and route 37. I've been a runner for decades, and I had a knee problem that just wouldn't quit. I went to two places in my hometown that took my insurance, and was extremely disappointed with the lack of face time with an actual PT, and that most sessions were just repeating exercises loosely supervised by an aide who was supervising three other people, things I could have done at home or my gym. I left my final session at the other places limping worse than when I came in. Not at BaseCamp though! Every session was like a mini reassessment, checking in with how you're doing with your exercise program, 100% of the time was spent with Josh, and designing a fine tuned exercise program FOR YOU. If an exercise hurts, Josh knows ten other ways to try and accomplish the same thing, and won't stop until he finds the exercise you can do pain free. One or two sessions included an analysis of my stride, and giving suggestions on how to modify it to run more comfortably. He respects your time and the fact you probably are motivated and can follow an exercise program, so the sessions are more about developing the program, rather than coming in three times a week to do it. If you need a little deep tissue work or cupping, he'll do it. I'm FINALLY running again and would not hesitate to come to this place again if need be, even with the commute. A shout out goes to the support staff as well, my first appointment happened to fall on a day Petaluma was experiencing severe flooding, and all roads around the office were closed. I was already on the road, and they called me, found an alternate location to meet me and assess me, and gave me advice on the best route into town that wouldn't be closed. Such service!
