2007 he delivered my 11.0 lb son. He was amazing and I'm so excited to see he is still doing so well in his practice.

I have seen Dr Safarik numerous time over the last few months and I can honestly say that I felt belittled and talked down to every time I met with him. When I have asked him to clarify my concerns he even said "I explained all this before to you over the phone" instead of taking a moment to explain his doctor jargon again he seemed snappy and unprofessional. I left in tears because I felt stupid and confused after every one of our appointments. I do want to say that his assistant was wonderful and always so kind to me so this rating does not reflect her in anyway. I recommend you keep looking for another doctor.

My wife went in for surgery to treat endometriosis. Without prior discussion Dr. Safarik ended up removing the majority of an ovary. During a follow up appointment, upon telling us he made the comment "you probably have thousands of eggs still left on that side". However, during our IVF process, we've come to find that specific ovary now produces a very small amount now due to the size.The customer/patient care was also extremely poor. We asked that the doctor sent an operative report the our IVF provider. Dr. Safarik and his staff acted extremely inconvenienced when we asked for their help gathering our health records. Dr. Safarik said verbatim, "we aren't doing this again." If patient care is what you're looking for, I would recommend going anywhere else. I agree with the comment made a few below this one.

Just a few of my experiences with Dr. Safarik. * Left his home in the evening to perform an emergency c-section which could have easily been left to the on-call physician. (First pregnancy.)* Delivered me at a hospital he doesn't usually deliver at because that's what my insurance covered. * I had a terrible rash post pregnancy, and he called twice while on his vacation once with instructions and then a couple days later to follow up.(Unheard of.)* He stopped delivering babies but as he was still my GYN during my second pregnancy he called me upon hearing I was breech with very helpful recommendations. * He recommended a previous colleague of his but I couldn't get in because she was so full. He contacted her because he felt I needed her level of experience. He was correct. * Despite retiring from deliveries he made room on his calendar to assist in surgery for my second c-section which proved to be a bit challenging. * If I was to begin listing all he has done for friends and family members the review would be entirely too long. This physician will do whatever it takes within his abilities to get you the best care in a way that fits best for your situation. He sets himself aside consistently for the service and quality care of his patients. His follow through and standard of care is off the charts. On top of being the most humble doctor I've encountered.
