I usually never write reviews but I had to write one for this. The dentist made my gums bleed and was very harsh with the tools. Kept on poking my gums and it hurt so much. overall, I would not recommend

This is a dentist I'm never returning to. Several reasons:1. When I went to them with a tooth ache, one whole part of my face was in pain. When I couldn't tell them exactly which tooth was paining(what could I do, there was pain in several teeth!), the Dr. expressed frustration and displayed extremely rude bedside manners.2. I was scheduled for a root canal 3 weeks after the former visit and was advised to set aside 2 hours for the procedure. When I went in on that day, the Dr. started selling me on a different procedure. When I told him I was there for a root canal, he said he couldn't "fit me in that day as he had lunch plans" - as if patients' time doesn't matter. The front desk staff then started lying about the scheduling, claiming the Dr. was very busy.3. This is probably the worst - their instruments are dirty and apparently not sterilized in between patients - look at the attached photo. When the Dr. attempted to put this dirty instrument in my mouth, I walked out. When I showed this to a family friend that is also a dentist, they were mortified. Per their advise, I'm going to report this dental practice to the board that oversees dental practices in the state.I'm never ever returning for any treatment here.

I got a reference and started getting my dental work done here about 5+ years ago.  Since then I have become their regular customer visiting them every six months.  My thoughtful analysis of the qualities that I see in them is:- good quality, no rush cleaning work- periodic recommendations for x-rays, deep cleaning or whatever else may be needed- no over-insistence if you choose to not go for a treatment- willingness to openly discuss patients' concerns- timely reminders for any pre-treatment medicines or actions necessary- absolutely smiling and friendly doctors and staff- don't take it quote and quote, but they are flexible with appointments and have never expressed a sad face for few last minute changes to/cancellations of appointments- referrals to orthodontists etc may surely be to one In their network but again no force and they treat you equally well if you choose a different orthodontist.

I recently moved to Pleasanton and was searching for a new dentist that's how I landed into valley smile dental. The office staff is very polite and helpful. They give you reminder texts or calls whichever you prefer. I find that helpful as we have so many things going on in our lives and a reminder call just in time makes it easier to stay on track. I have had 2 appointments here so far and I have received good treatment. The doctor makes the treatment process comfortable and seamless. Getting an appointment has been a blessing as I work a full time job and they accommodate me during my available timings. I have found my new dentist!
