We've had our under-the-sink water filtration system for approximately 2.5 years. It has worked well for us. Our pump stopped working, thus no filtered water. We are trying to schedule a service appointment. We've contacted the company by phone and through their web contact form with no response. I spoke with someone today, and they indicated they would call me back today. I have yet to receive a return phone call. Four attempts have been made to set a service appointment. No response from the company.

Let me say right from the start that owner Bob Fadem was an all around genius, and incredible human being.  The system he designed for my property was comprehensive and effective.  Service is prompt, and courteous.

We had Ryan come out to the house to do some water test, he was very fun to work with. Very knowledgeable about the product. He was very helpful and not at all pushy. He gave us a great deal.  Can't wait till we get our new system.

Bob is very smart and knows alot about the science behind water and the chemicals found in them. Compared to some companies that will just try to sell you an over priced system. He actually breaks down the science of how it works, why you need specific pieces, and the history behind San Diego water. I have heard sell pitches before and used some of my own. Pure water is not a sales pitch but will actually get you what you need at a REASONABLE PRICE. I've read previous reviews about Bobs and felt like something needed to be said about my experience compared to the last review. When it comes to the parts taking time to reach a customer it might have to due with that fact that there are only a few Brita distributor under contract and authorized to sell and install that system. No wonder why it would take forever to get broken valve pieces. Most water softener companies make their own system for that very reason. To keep business in house. Some of Pure water systems comes straight from Brita. Now his own system that he builds I am unaware of because I only have the Brita system. When I had Bob come over and explain everything to me I also felt as if he was condesending, at FIRST, but I realized by talking with him he was actually just very knowledgeable/Smart about the water business and passionate about his company and the systems that he builds and sells. Him and his wife built this and it's their lively hood so of course it may sound condesending. Even if he was, he still has been in water treatment business for years so he is an expert. The previous reviews just bashed Bob as a person not as a business nor the unit itself. It didn't add any relivent information or facts. For example what part of the system broke? How did it break? How long exactly did it take for the pieces to come? What did the warrenty cover? Did you need to get a whole new system? How much did it cost Pure water to replace it? Was it free? Did your insurance cover it? What other company did you go through? What was thier experience or expertise? Simple questions like that and not a single one answered just a rant about how they didn't like Bob. I'm in the Navy also since apparently that holds sway over a good business or not. Thanks again Bob and the Pure water team.

The products work well but poor communication.  They seem to go through a bunch of employees too. The gentleman that originally sold me the system and the gentleman I talked to you a few months ago about changing the filters no longer work there . I was originally quoted $160 per RO to replace the under sink filters once a year.  (I have 2 in my house). When I called and made the appointment there was no talk at all about price. Then when a technician came out to install them, there was no talk about price again either. So I thought the price was still $160 per RO and $320 total for 2 systems. I get an invoice the next day for $450. Kind of a joke. Seems kinda scammy. Also seems extremely expensive having to do that once every single year for the system that I paid $5,500 for. You might want to look elsewhere.
