I was recommended to Joleen from The Rusted Poppy by someone I went to school with. She was just getting into the floral business herself and said Joleen was the best of the best. Joleen was easy to connect with right away. Unlike with other florists, we got right down to business and started with our budget. Joleen worked her magic to capture our vision for the wedding while working within the money we had allocated for our florals. I shared my vision for a romantic, wildflower, fall look and Joleen brought it to life beyond anything we could have dreamed of. She even incorporated manzanita branches from my family property into the arrangements for extra special meaning. When I first saw my bouquet, I had to catch my breath. It was exactly what I had hoped for! I am having the piece preserved as a special wall hanging for our home - it was that beautiful! Our cake florals were simple and elegant. Our boutonnieres and corsages are uniquely eye-catching. Joleen's artistic flair and elegance can be seen in the little details such as these. Amazing cute shop the best stuff for the best price and quality! DO NOT BUY FROM across the street uptown boutique!!! The stuff here at Poppy is incredible. Service is great on top way better prices and quality! Uptown is also coffee shop Owner is so horrendous does not allow service animals and even owns a coffee shop with the name Dog in it next door! Honestly, not one to write reviews, but had to.. with how crazy this woman was at uptown and how amazing poppys little shop was with how much incredible things they put in that store the quality of each product!

Absolutely adore this little shop. The owner Joleen is an absolute doll she is so sweet and there are so many cute things in the store! I absolutely love the classes they hold so many cute personal items!

I met Joleen when my husband and I bought property in Ramona this past June. I just loved her energy and positive spirit! While I was in there, I found a beautiful handbag that I get lots of compliments on, it has become my favorite bag!
