My son has a mental illness & is autistic. The Opportunity Center has given him a job where he can be successful because of the caring staff. They work with him on days he's having a rough time & help him in ways most employers wouldn't. The Opportunity Center has given him self respect and pride. Without his job there I know he wouldn't be doing as well as he is.

My brother has provided janitorial services at Shasta Dam for 20 years. He has been able to work full time as a client of the Opportunity Center. He has been able to live independently and pay all his bills and his mortgage. Without the Opportunity Center he wouldn't have been able to do that. He deserves to be a productive person and provide for himself and live a fulfilling life. I cannot believe the Opportunity Center is going to be lost to him and all the other clients that it means the world to.
